About Kelsey

Photo by Sydney Woodward of Folklore Studio Collective

Life is full of moments that want to be celebrated, supported, and held tenderly, and ceremonies help us - amidst the fullness of life - to make space for life.

Over the past decade of studying and practicing ritual and ceremony, I have seen the beauty and power of humans gathering (no matter the number). When we bring our hearts and minds together, we have incredible capacity to and hold the joy as well as the challenges that life may bring.

In addition to being a certified Celebrant, I am trained in music, creative writing, musical theatre, human rights law, collective trauma integration, and restorative justice facilitation. These diverse experiences, interests and passions have introduced me to many walks of life and the story-telling that helps us to make sense of them. As a Celebrant, it is my delight to hold and honour these stories.

Creating Your Ceremony

The process of creating a ceremony can itself be ceremonial. My journeys have taught me about ebbs, flows, and seasons of life, and my primary lesson is this: everything is easier with some space to inhale and exhale (probably a few times). It would be my pleasure to hold this space for you.

In creating a ceremony with you, I will be responsive to you and your life (including your communication preferences, your time constraints and any accessibility considerations).

Contact me for a free 20 minute exploratory-call and let’s see if it helps you breathe easy.
